I belong to a long and illustrious lineage in Kolkata. Both my mother and father’s families have long histories in the city.

 

We are a nuclear family now. My father is a dental surgeon who retired after 26 years of an honorable service from the Indian Air Force. He is currently based in Kolkata and has his own dental practice. My mother  is an M. Sc. in Child Psychology and a B.Ed. In English and Science. She was the headmistress in the Air Force school and is currently a home maker. My younger sister is a bachelors in hotel management and is currently working for a large customer services organization.

 

I was born in Devlali, Nasik, where my father was then posted in the Indian Air Force. From there, we moved to Nagpur. I began my formal schooling in Jorhat, Assam. Then I moved to Jodhpur in Rajasthan, where I spent my formative years. I did my High schooling from Pune, where I cleared CBSE board with high merits. I then did my electronics engineering from Nanded and my MBA in IT from Mumbai. After a short stint in Mumbai, I moved to China for work. I am still based in China and am toiling away.
